The Journey is the reward
This is a task I completed last year, I recorded my journey through the Westfield shopping mall.
When I started the journey it was cold, wet and windy. I felt like going back inside and tuck myself in my comfy bed, but I needed to complete the task so I went on ahead. Step by step recording.
Well by the time the journey was over I had forgotten about the bad weather and almost did not want to go back home. It was a wonderful experience viewing a mall in a different way. Normally I only visit the mall with intentions of purchasing goods or otherwise so I can note down my wish list ;). This time it was for a learning experience which turned out to be an adventure.
Curate
The Rock is my Strength
I recently submitted a Curating exercise for the Advanced Representation module. I found this really interesting. I had the chance to talk about an object that means a lot to me.
The object I chose was the Domboshava rock in Zimbabwe, which is where I come from.
I feel inner peace when I am on top of the rock. A walk around it certainly revives my mind body and soul. I can never get enough of the beauty of the nature surrounding it.
Through this rock I developed a love for ornamental grasses.
